On the first of April 2026, I updated the Braille Dictionary. The outreach of being invited to several groups of Blind and Low Vision Veterans was amazing. I started this project because I wanted to organize myself while learning Braille, but I found that several people wanted a copy of my early work. I have gone through several iterations of the Braille Dictionary. I am deeply touched at the reception that I have been getting from the Veteran community. The Braille Dictionary is fast becoming the guide that I wished for when I became blind. It has many things (See our home page for details) that go beyond just Braille and are helpful to know.
I want to say “Thank You” to all of the VIST teams that I have spoken to and look forward to talking with other Veterans and the people who help us.
