There are many ways to become a part of the Braille Dictionary Project – The thing that we need right now is people that are knowledgeable about Braille and can help to go over the material that we have already made (We are working diligently to produce the next improvement) and make it better (See the milestones for the next step we are working on).
Your investment of time and talent will help make this something that VETs can use and be a real impact on their lives. We need talent and commitment to get the mission complete and keep the improvements tangible and pertinent to people who are blind.
We need time and talent rather than investment at this stage of the project. Once we have something that is viable and accurate, then we can move onto getting it printed and Brailled to get it into the hands of Vets nationwide. Grants and funding to get the project done will come in time, the first objective is to make it usable and rock solid for everyone (Low-vision and blind VETs).
